Had not stopped by in years. Very glad we did for an early dinner after shopping. Jackie was an informative and personable server and very attentive. The appetizer section was extensive and the seafood entree items were numerous. The crab dip was so flavorful. The seafood pasta had large scallops and perfectly steamed vegetables. The seafood enchilada was enormous. Will definitely be back!
Although only stopping for drinks, Chilli Peppers had a quaint bar full of locals. Try some of their special drinks. The staff were friendly, and quickly helpful. There is a full service restaurant as well, but usually closes way before the bar. Will definitely be back to try the restaurant at some point! Update one year later. Made it back for dinner. The Cuban sandwich and jalapeno potato salad was great. Service was fast and friendly and the food came out quick and hot. Still recommend the place.
Dropped in for a late lunch. We were craving burgers and fries. I devoured my food lol. It was exactly what I needed to fulfill my cravings. I’m not a fan of seasoned fries but they were really good. Jackie was very friendly and responsive to all of our needs. This has been the best spot we’ve been to since being here. I highly recommend it!
My wife and I stopped in around lunch and it was very quiet. Very laid back atmosphere with awesome customer service. Food was great, we had fish & chips and black bean rolls. Definitely recommend!
This place was recommended to us by the owner of our AirBnB. I went with my husband and kids and we all had a pretty good experience. I ordered the French dip, and my husband ordered the El Diablo burger. Flavor and portions were on point. But, honestly, my favorite part was that our waiter was highly attentive, and he remembered ALL of our orders without writing them down. You get 5 stars for that alone! Will definitely come back again!
I tried this place for the first time on Memorial Day Weekend because I was in the mood for seafood and this place blew me away. The shrimp tasted fresh and the fries and hushpuppies were cooked to perfection and all served hot from the kitchen. The front desk person even kept me updated as I was waiting to be seated. Even with the amount of customers due to the season for the area the waitress was so nice and always made sure I had refills throughout the meal. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area, one of the best places for fresh and hot meals.
Above average, for sure! The cuisine was full of flavors. Very generous portion sizes. This is not a typical tourist Mexican restaurant, just so you know. This is a locals spot. It has a great old school OBX nostalgia feel inside. Enthusiastic servers. Good price point on the whole menu selection. Get there early!
Finally got a chance to stop in here and it did not disappoint! Everything is fresh with SO MUCH FLAVOR! Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.
